Designing Stillness with Volume
There’s nothing ordinary about this living room.
From the moment we saw the raw space, we knew it needed to feel like a sculpture—not just a space to sit.
Our inspiration?
A bottle of whisky on a glass rock table—smooth, bold, clear, heavy. That became our metaphor.
The Yellow Wall Wasn’t a Color. It Was a Punchline.
We designed this room as a composition.
The yellow panel slices through space with mathematical confidence
Soft greys, blacks, and beige fabrics pull the palette back into calm
Every object was chosen with theatrical restraint
The art on the wall was not added—it was designed into the structure
Material Choices That Breathe Silence
Custom soft-touch matte on built-ins
High-density wooden flooring from Belgium
Imported charcoal paint with anti-reflection coating
Satin brass inlays to catch light—but never scream
A Living Room for Those Who Host With Poise
This wasn’t built for show-off selfies. It was built for:
Jazz on a Tuesday
Negronis over slow conversation
Kids curled into the corner chaise
Clients coming over and asking: “Who designed this?”
Answer: Modern Habitat did.
Project Name:
